The Story Behind The Company:

"We became Riverstone, Inc. in May of 1996.  We wanted the name of the business to reflect our faith.  We formed the name with two parts in mind.  we chose "river" because Jesus is a 'river of life' to us.  We wanted water to be represented in the name also because of the waters of baptism.  Jesus was baptized in the River Jordan.  We chose "stone" for a few reasons.  A stone in a river is affected by the river; Its edges are smoothed by the current.  This is the same for us if we choose to place ourselves in the river of God's goodness.  The "stone" could also mean Jesus being our Cornerstone.  He is also the Rock of our salvation.  God is our Rock.  There are many biblical examples of the river (or water) and of the rock."

"Even though we are a small company, we have been blessed with the best equipment - our own hands!  No big production line machinery or conveyor belts here!  Each piece must meet our high standards of quality."
